My design & illustration career has always been centered around science & the natural world. My primary art direction and illustration work for the past 5 years has been centered in the biotech and pharmaceutical world (think branding & websites, but also lots of drawings of cells, proteins, and small molecules!), but I’m always exploring projects in the greater birds, bugs, and plant world - anything that feels related to ecology, with bonus points for something whimsical.
I've worked extensively in both print and digital design, working with small businesses, large-scale gift companies, and a variety of cultural institutions. Packaging, e-commerce and social media campaigns, marketing and tradeshow graphics - you name it - I've helped the businesses I've worked with create branded experiences and assets appropriate for whatever outlet they've needed to fill.
With an eye for detail and quirky embellishment, my illustration work runs side-by-side with my design experience. Having grown up surrounded by the natural world, most of my illustration often focuses on or draws inspiration from nature - the little details that are sometimes overlooked. If you’ve got an idea for a project like this, please feel free to contact me - I’d love to work with you on our next project!
