In the Fall of 2015 and Spring of 2016, I worked with Yale Forestry School affiliates Yoni Glogower and Michael Gaige to illustrate and then create the layout for a print fieldbook of Great Mountain Forest, a Yale-owned property in northeast Connecticut.
The fieldbook, written and edited by Glogower and Gaige, was roughly 220 pages, including photographs and text by Gaige and Glogower, and watercolor illustrations completed by me. The illustrations included several full-color and two monochrome illustrations of the stunningly variable plant life and land-types present within the 20 square mile area of Great Mountain Forest.
