Concepts that draw on plants.
For KBio, I was part of a team of designers throwing a wide design net for KBio, a Kentucky-based biopharmaceutical manufacturing company. They wanted graphics that felt differentiated from other bio manufacturers, while still strongly referencing the plant-based nature of their work.
For this project, I explored three visual concepts, each including custom illustration that pushed the concepts into very different look & feel directions. The third ‘dark mode’ approach, based off of protein imaging within their modified tobacco plants, was selected.
